Nice outdoor seating areas.

Can't keep a reservation.

When we arrived, we were told that some other guests had decided to stay another night, so our reservation for a room with 2 queen beds was changed to 1 king. The staff member at the desk said oh, sorry, I missed this but didn't act like there was anything she was willing to do about it. I felt that we should have been offered SOMETHING, even if it didn't involve a discounted price. People who choose to stay an extra night should not get to ruin the reservations of other hotel customers. Beyond that, I have no complaints about the overall hotel experience - but the fact that our reservation was changed without any sort of regret or apology really left a bad taste in my mouth, and I most likely will not return. It really felt like the wishes of the 50+ year old guests driving Cadillacs were put above the RESERVATIONS of two younger people, and I don't appreciate being treated that way when I am also a paying customer. ...read more

Totally enjoyed the stay at this hotel. I don't think I could fault it. Clean room, good breakfast, great price.

The hotel provides free tea, coffee, water and soft drinks at all hours in their dining area.

The televisions are not updated flat screens.

We were walking distance to Main Street so the shops and eateries were extremely accessible. The rooms were clean, the pool area and grounds were lovely, and the hot tub looked enticing (although we never did get in). They have a nice continental breakfast, and the dining area is open 24/7 so you can go in and get tea, water and soft drinks at anytime...a rare thing for a hotel! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Frederick burg for business or pleasure. We will be staying here next time.
